About this event
In November 2026, SouthSky launches the first edition of an annual gathering: South Africa’s Bike Weeks, presented by LEATT, one of South Africa’s leading mountain biking apparel and protection brands.
Created as a yearly meeting point for riders from around the world, Bike Weeks is not a race and not a stage event, but a shared riding journey — built around community, exploration, and the best of South African riding.
For two weeks, South Sky opens a single, public itinerary that riders from all over the world can join. You don’t come alone — you arrive as part of a group of like-minded people who love bikes, adventure, and good company. With accommodation of your choosing, from simple and comfortable to more premium. Some join for a few days, some for a full week, some for the whole experience — but everyone rides the same story, together.
Each day unfolds with purpose. World-class mountain biking through iconic landscapes. Flowing singletrack carved into mountain slopes. Gravel roads winding through valleys and vineyards. Trails that locals ride before and after work — now opened to you by the people who know them best.
