Create memberships and access offerings

An offering is the membership, pass or other access a person buys or receives. Open Admin → Memberships & access → New offering and choose the access type before setting its price and validity.

Set the membership term

For a membership that lasts a fixed number of days from purchase, choose Rolling and enter the duration. A 365-day rolling membership ends 365 elapsed days after its start; it is not tied to 31 December. Use Calendar year only when every holder must share fixed dates.

Keep the billing period consistent with what members are buying. Monthly, quarterly and annual membership periods can renew. One-off offerings do not create a recurring billing cycle.

Decide who qualifies

Use the membership eligibility editor when price or access depends on member facts. Each branch is an alternative route to qualify, while the conditions inside one branch all have to match. This supports rules such as:

• a minimum or maximum age;
• full-time student status;
• living inside or outside named provinces;
• an allowed family relationship; and
• a required custom profile value.

Choose whether a matching branch is approved automatically, reviewed after payment, or reviewed before payment. A rule is only as reliable as the saved member data it evaluates, so make the signup wizard collect date of birth, province, student status or the relevant custom field before checkout.

When a route needs proof, also choose the Validation type, write the member instructions and turn on Require a proof file where a document is mandatory. The rule evaluator reads saved facts; an uploaded document supports the configured review and does not by itself populate date of birth, province or student status.

Configure a family or group offering

Turn on Group / family when one primary holder manages several co-termed places. Define each person type with a stable type key, label, maximum count and extra price. Mark which type the primary may occupy and select one default primary type. The primary consumes one configured place; dependants consume the remaining places, so total capacity is the sum of the type limits—not an extra primary plus those limits.

Each dependant place can have its own age, student or relationship rule. When people can qualify in different ways, create separate person types at the same price—for example Family member, Full-time student and Age 60+—instead of putting all three conditions on one type.

The launch group term is co-termed: a dependant uses the primary membership's current end date and renews as part of the primary contract. The owner can charge the full extra price or use daily proration for a place added mid-term. The primary billing contract pays the next group total; a dependant paying their initial place does not become the future payer for the whole group.

Configure renewal

Every recurring membership offering includes Auto-renew. In buyer checkout, renewal starts ON and stays on unless the buyer turns it off before paying or later changes it from membership controls. Turning it off is an explicit pay-once choice and is preserved if the same payment checkout is resumed.

Before publishing an offering, test the exact public wizard or join page you will share. Confirm its price, 365-day or other term, eligibility result, primary place, dependant price, payment state and end date on the resulting holding.
