Community profile, branding and modules

Keep the public identity and operating details current, then show only the modules that fit the community.

Open Admin → Settings to maintain the community rather than editing each public surface separately.

Profile and operating details

Settings covers the community name, description, logo, contact details, timezone, business and VAT details, type, category, interests, goals and brand colours. Preview the public page after changing identity or branding because cards, emails and embedded components can use the same data.

The community currency is read-only after creation. It controls displayed prices; current hosted PayStack charges are initialised in ZAR, so a community using live hosted-card checkout should use ZAR. Contact platform support instead of relabelling prices when the original currency choice is wrong.

Set the timezone to where the community actually operates. Classes, appointments, event times, day-permit gate windows and scheduled operational work depend on local-time interpretation.

Community type and relevance

The type and category help JollyBee show relevant setup and navigation. Changing them can reveal or hide tools, but it does not change the subscription entitlement and does not delete existing records.

Modules

Use Settings → Modules to mark features relevant or not relevant. This controls navigation and setup guidance; it is not a billing control.

Turning a module off does not:

  • Downgrade the subscription or remove a paid capability.
  • Delete its data.
  • Cancel scheduled messages, classes, appointments, campaigns or events.
  • Revoke access already granted by an offering.

Resolve those records in their own module before hiding it. If a help guide names a page that is missing from the sidebar, restore that module first, then check the subscription capability if an upgrade gate remains.
